A cognitive systems and embodied AI lab based in Nairobi. We build the Docilis Visual Intelligence Engine (DVIE), a vision stack that runs in real time on low-cost edge hardware, with no cloud connection needed.

What drives me

Most AI is built somewhere else and used here. I want to change that. I started out building websites for Nairobi businesses, turned that into a software company, and now run a research lab building vision systems that work offline, on cheap hardware, in the places that need them most.
